David Hodgson’s diverse business portfolio has resulted in a global career encompassing wide ranging sectors including commercial fishing , commercial saturation diving, motorcycle distributorship, a non-profit fund raising organisation, finance origination and property development. David has developed and marketed the highly successful financial offerings of Paladin Property Fund Limited and Paladin Acquisition Fund Limited.  He is currently the Managing Director of MacroLend Pty Ltd as well as the CEO of the Paladin Group, managing 23 companies with interests from property development, business acquisitions, Health & Fitness, Construction, and wine exports. 

David is a sought after speaker at business conferences around Australia and Overseas, and is a lecturer at the Compass Program at University of Queensland in Brisbane.

Stephen Burridge

Founder and Executive Director of Paladin Group

Stephen Burridge has been involved in the Construction and Property Industry since 1982. Starting in carpentry as a youth, Stephen became involved in property sales in 1987 on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. During a three year period, starting from the year 2000, Stephen travelled the world with a large Multi National Company and played a management role in the construction and commissioning of several sophisticated fibre optic cable network landing stations throughout South America and the United States. Since co-founding The Paladin Group with David Hodgson in 2004, Stephen has been solely responsible for the majority of construction completed thus far by the Paladin Group and continues to enjoy the satisfaction of completing quality developments.

Stephen has a Diploma of Project Management and has gained experience throughout a diverse cross section of industries over the last 20 years. This has culminated in a strong understanding of successful business practices.

Stephen Barnard graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree from the University of Natal, South Africa in 1990. He commenced working for Multi National companies IBM, Credit Suisse Financial Products (UK) and Mobil North Sea Limited (UK) before starting up and investing in a number of businesses in Africa and Australia in the real estate, land holdings and property development sectors.

Stephen brings a wealth of business management experience to the Group and holds a Certificate IV in Real Estate Agency Practices and a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking). He is currently a Director of Paladin Corporation, Rock Property Holdings and a board member of the Zimbabwe Aid Fund, an international non-profit fund raising entity.
